Whats this all about , 600bhp are they having a laugh? its at least 4 years away , 600bhp wont stand a chance.

Its not news on the 600 bhp 458 competitor,hopefully a true sports car with out the weight .

Depends on what you need the power for: boasting in the pub or cruising down the Kings Road? Yes, you have to have more power than your competitors. But for driving on real roads (at speeds relevant for crappy, congested, policed UK roads) then 600 is just as irrelevant as 700 or 800 or 900.

Very interested in this but it seems a long way off frown

With P13 on the way and the Cayman 'GT4' coming though, I guess we can all wait!

he's on about the new, if it happens Mac, that is due next Sep, 15, its a 650 platform,( the last of) 450bhp, with basic suspension....etc.
trying to take on the GT3 and the TTS.

Surely this car will have to be a hybrid , if porsche are true to their word about keeping the tree huggers happy , and also competing with the rest of the pack ?
