It's low mileage but the garage is chancing it's luck hoping for £85k.

The majority of the 997.1 GT3's were all priced at £67k a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe this is the new agreed 'asking' price!

I see Amari have added £12k to the black RS they can't sell. Was up for £87k last week.
Prices are laughable but there are a few mugs who have more money than sense.

I'd be amazed if it sells for that. Seems like a proper bubble now. Interesting that 993 turbos went this way 6 months ago but now there are a lot sitting unsold at £100k

To put it into context Paragon sold a three thousand mile red mk1 before the recent increase's for 70k, that was when most were going for 55-60k, so I suppose 75-78k would be about right when compared to prices being achieved on other GT3 and GT3RS cars.

Is it worth that much? Possibly not, but if any old 997.1 RS is 100k, green Rhd ones are 110k and mk2 RS cars are 130-150k
then it stands to reason the mk1 will go up as well.

After all the mk1 RS is only a lairy paint job, single mass fly wheel, 44mm wider and a bigger rear wing different from the standard car and they seem to all be 100k now.

Where will it all end????????

Just re insured my gt3 gen1 I admit allthough it looks standard it's not with what I've done with it I have got a agreed valuation for £77 k iam happy with that

Possible downside to this is that if they become worth too much my wife will insist I sell it.

Though I don't think she looks at the classifieds to the extent I do

The real downside IMO is that the rate/amount of price increase has got to the stage I'm starting to wonder how much (even subconsciously) it affects my usage of the car.

Yes, right up to the point that nobody turns up to buy it at that price. JZM have just dropped the prices of a couple of their 993 turbos, presumably because they had little interest.
