Gentlemen

Good evening. I thought I would take a few minutes to post up some pictures from the aforementioned show today. I am aware that there has been much bickering and falling out over what started with a man tending to his garden in his Birthday suit. Two things in particular were on show and the perpetrator has seen been er....sacked. Ahem.

I just wanted to remind you all of what I believe this site is about, no matter who now owns it and what their commercial priorities might be.

So here are some of my favourites from today, and I warn you, whilst they are of German origin, they might not be from the Good Doctor.

A lovely Polar 964C2 wearing its mileage with pride.

Need I say more about this car? And no, he ain't selling!

A lovely (Chesil?) 356 Speedster. A real beauty.

My fave of the show. Gen 2 GT3 non RS loveliness. Sigh....

A truly superb E30 M3. A seminal motor.

A heart stopping 911E. Owned for 26 years by the current owner and bought from a pile of boxes and bits! Beautiful.

The car that invented the Super Estate Car. The might 'Porsche assisted' RS2.

One of the most important cars of the 20th Century. The traditional Sports Car made redundant at a stroke. The Mk1 Golf GTI.

A truly gorgeous 25th Anniversay 3.2 Carrera. Stunning.

And finally (drum roll) a beautiful white 911S. Not surprisingly it won Car of the Show.

10 miles from my house and I didn't even know about it!
Ah well, at least I got to spend an hour walking round ASDA and watched some crap on TV instead.

I think that the unpredictable weather probably put a few off as numbers were about 20% down on last year.

Still a good show though.
