Back seat for 991 GT3
Discussion
Hi guys,
I have a 991 GT3 coming in September if the bloody engine arrives in time. I am also expecting my 1st new born in January. There will be a 2nd car at home however there will be times that I want to take the family out in the GT3.
Does anybody know if it’s possible to retrofit the back seats or just for child seats at the back, I did add the ISOFIX at the front but there isn’t anything for there rears. I intend to keep this car for a long time and looking to enjoy it with the family as my DD with occasional track use.
I am based in the London area but willing to commute where necessary to get this done. Any advise will be appreciated.
Thanks

I think JZM did this in the past for an owner of a 997.1 GT3, might be worth giving them a call.I have a 991 GT3 coming in September if the bloody engine arrives in time. I thought there was an issue with the rear of the 991 GT3 being 'single-skin' unlike the 997??
Something about missing hardware here:http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

997.1 GT3 double-skinned, 997.2 GT3 single skinned. This question seems to arise quite often wrt GT3s (should be a factory option
) and although it may be do-able, I don't think many actually go through with it. BTW, you'd need to notify your insurers. Edited by Koln-RS on Monday 4th August 23:12
Mannings in the UK don't have a problem with this modification from an insurance point of view as long as carried out properly. I enquired earlier this year. I'm not 100% but thought you could only do it on a 997.1 GT3 not a 997.2 due to the double vs single skin, but happy to be corrected.
