The missus...

(She who 6 months ago was saying "don't buy a Porsche/get something newer/more economical/more practical/oh do we have to have the roof down/it's a bit noisy/can you fit parking sensors/I can't believe you put mileage and condition and colour and history over heated seats/that speedometer is a stupid design/can you actually get heated seats fitted/will you please stop that thing involving motorway slip roads and 2nd gear just grow up/can you put the roof up and fit heated seats and a heated handbrake")

...is borrowing my car today and has just texted me about something.

And she called the car "She".

Wish we had tunnels in the hull area. My c2 with 1.5" bypass would of sounded amazing (it did through a multi-storey and actually managed to set a car alarm off).

The Mrs said she actually felt sick the other day, after a fairly heavy right foot in 1st with PSE in the underground car park :-)

Update

Her..."Oh it was so nice getting back from work to the station on a hot day and being able to put the roof down."

Me..."You what? Roof down? Did you do the chop?"

Her..."Yes. I did the "Boxster Chop" and I have to say it does drive very nicely after that service"

Me..."I need the keys tomorrow...."

Her: "Why do you want Porsche? It will just sit on the drive and you'll never use it. It's just a toy"

Roll forward a few weeks..

Me: "You off to play tennis?"
Her: "Yes, where are the keys to the Porsche?"
Me: "Are you showing off to the girls again?"
Her: "Absolutely!!!"

Had this when I bought my new Z4.

It seems the Mrs no longer wants to drive her own car anywhere and my keys now get snaffled whenever she's off out.

I may have to get the S2000 back - she hated that!
