Full 993 interior retrim, where to go in London-ish area?
Discussion
Interior on my my 993 is finally starting to suffer a bit at 125k miles due to the baking heat (currently in Europe). While I could have some stuff redone/reconnolised piecemeal, I'm tempted to just get everything redone in the next couple of months - nothing particularly fancy, but extended leather over the dash, door cards etc with maybe some contrasting stitching, new carpets etc. Anyone else here been down the same route in the south east and able to recommend and outfit to do it for a reasonable price?

Heard good things about MK Trimmers in Aylesford Kent. 10 mins from J6 M20. Saw some of there work & it was very good. Came recommended by Karmann Ghia owning friend as well.

southboundtrimmers.com are the guys. Excellent work but they ain't cheap
+1@ Mario: I used a Southbound to carry out a full re trim on my previous 993. Happy to speak if interested in details, but key takeaways are summed up above - great work but v expensive.
I'm looking to have my latest project re trimmed and would be happy to arrange together if that would get us a better deal (southbound unlikely to offer any discounts).
Try chatting to Garry at Classic fx: http://classiccarrestorationsurrey.co.uk/trimming/ Great attention to detail, and good value for money, but you might have to wait as they're very busy at the moment.

Maybe try Steve Hudson in Stanmore. Recommended before on PH. I only have mobile so PM if interested.
Off-the-wall idea: call into Frank Dale & Stepsons in West London (Great West Rd) http://www.frankdale.com they do Bentleys and Rolls but have separate trim shop.

Have a word with these chaps http://www.nineexcellence.com/ They had a 911 interior done by someone either in Belgium or Holland, I forget which, and it looked superb, and iirc, it was considerably cheaper than getting it done in the UK. If you are in europe, might be worth a thought.

Dave The Trimmer is based in Milton Keynes and I can certainly recommend him, genuine nice guy too. He fully re-trimmed my TVR T350, in leather and alcantara. Quite happy to email you photos if you require. I popped in to see him a month ago as I want him to re trim alcantara on steering wheel and round gear stick which I hope to get done during winter months. He is also reasonably price IMHO.

Okay, have contacted MK, southbound, Dave and classic fx. After nearly a week only the last 2 have replied to my emails....not trying to sound harsh but I would have expected a reply from the others by now, especially since I specifically asked to be contacted that way since I'm abroad

Southbound are so busy that I've found they are not always responsive, but certainly don't rule them out on that account...
Not to close to London...
