I think the OPC is late to the party and it's already over!

Crazy price, whoever's daft enough to fund that will without doubt get ready for some tears.

I think someone has taken some mind altering drugs prior to listing the car.....

I owned a 1987 911 Carerra 3.2 SSE (Supersport Coupe) which had only 231 BHP...

I am sure that the same series Turbo had a bit more oomph! For £100K... confused

So the OPCs are at it now eh? 100k for a 930?

Still, whatever happens its probably less depreciation that a well optioned new C4S?

When looked at like that....

^^^ yep.

To be fair my mate Paul came to mine in a 991 c4s loaner at the weekend and it was pretty impressive. The noise definitely can't be complained about either. When he took off it sounded brilliant and there were fantastic crackles on the over run.

I'd struggle to choose a wobbly old jelly of a 930 over a new 991. Common sense has to prevail at some point. Nice cars but come off it.

Common sense? Surely that would equal a diesel focus!

Erm, not if you want a 911. Or are you saying that anyone buying a 911 should purchase any over inflated, bubble-phase item without daring to question value for money? And if they do dare to have any such thoughts they should be in a diesel Focus?

Hmm. scratchchin

No, I am not going that far. I am just pointing out that a 911 is an emotional purchase, and is really a toy.

Nobody needs a Porsche or indeed any sports car.

Two months ago, bought 996. Not silly money. Friends have been 100% over the price. Market may have gone nuts. But patience will give you the car at the price you are willing to pay.

I'm pretty sure it's this car : http://www.performancetime.co.uk/showroom/cars/por...

I went to see it a few months ago where it was on display at Solihull, not sure if they've now bought it.
I did speak to the owner at Peformance Time, I think following a recent Silverstone Auction car selling for 90k plus he reckons this one is better, albeit with only the 4 speed gearbox.

The car does look in great original condition, but I think there are others around much better value.

Do the OPCs offer the 2 year approved used warranty on these? If not how do they get around it?
