Help!! Keys flashing but not opening 997

Hi guys

Need to use my car ASAP and haven't been in it in about 10 days. Previous to today, it had taken a fee presses of the fob to open it, now the light is still flashing when I press it but not opening car?

What's the solution pls? Can I open manually using key, but will that set the alarm off?

Unlock with key and lock again. That wakes it up.

If the car hasn't been used for more than seven days, lift the drivers door handle. Release the door handle and then try again.

I hope i just needs waking up because If it's anything like the 996s, the transponder will gradually wear out and then it's off to OPC for a new key fob.

Or, open manually, like the old days, and stick the key in the ignition b4 the alarm wakes the neighbours.

Unlock the car with the key and turn the ignition on and it will resync. The alarm may go off though.

If you unlock the car with the keys but do NOT open the door and then hit the lock/unlock button on the remote twice you should then be able to open the car door without the alarm sounding.
