Panamera S or 4S
Discussion
Looking to buy a Panamera S or 4S around 3 years old and would be grateful for some advice from those in the know regarding the following
Is there a marked improvement in handling in wet conditions with the 4S there are more available than the S which makes me wonder if the S may be less desirable come sale time. I've driven the S but not the 4S
Air suspension essential or not
What are real world MPG
The car I'm looking at only had the basic sound system, I've never been that impressed with any 911 system but would hope the Panamera would be a bit better, is the base system ok
Any general advice appreciated

well I had a 4S, but I have driven the entire range (now have a Turbo)
Problem I found with the S (and the diesel) was that it is quite easy to light up the rears; especially when trying to get out of junctions quickly
the 4S never exhibited this issue.
my 4S had steel springs and PASM - the turbo has Air & PASM - it really is a world apart - I would say based on my experience that air is a must
MPG ;
On a normal motorway tootle, light traffic, sticking around the speed limits I saw 32mpg consistently
bit more gas and it quickly dropped to 28 ish;
pushing on, obviously drops a fair bit but can't really remember it dropping below 20, unless I was really on it (just done a track day in the Turbo and lowest it went to was 9mpg!)
Cant help with the sounds as both my cars have Bose - which is pretty good
Did borrow a car withe Burmeister, and would not really recommend it for the massive additional cost incurred.

Thanks for that, the car I'm looking at is the white S at Opc Cambridge which having had a look around seems a bit low spec but seems to be the only white car available, think I will look at other colours as I'm pretty flexible on that.
Any opinions or anyone know of any cars for sale not currently advertised

Is it not worth considering the GTS? Looks and sounds fantastic, certainly turned my head.
I would agree that Air suspension is a must, having driven both springs and air in a Cayenne.
Interesting about the Burmeister high end system. I have to admit that would have to be a must for me. Everyones ears are different though.
