Hi,
I replaced some not very impressive P Zero Rosso's on my 2002 C2 (18") for a set of Continental SC2's and found them to be excellent in dry and wet conditions. I now have a 2006 C2 (19") with new Potenza's that I would rate as a better again than the Conti's. I haven't tried Michelin's.

Can you shed any light on why the PS2's are better than the bridgestones?
Not arguing with you folks but I have always used S02s and it annoys that I have to replace them every 8 months even though I dont drive particularly hard - if the PS2's last longer with comparable or better performance then I'll definitely switch brand.

Hmmm sounds like its about the same in terms of durability then. I just had high hopes that a switch in tyre might result in better handling and better durability for a minute there!
It's something I would have been cynical about in the past but I remember switching from bridgestones to Avon zz3s on my civic type R and the car completely stopped wheelspinning all over the place when setting off (did that on bridgestones with the tiniest bit of bit on the road and when trying to set off quite sedately) and the tyres lasted twice as long and cost £20 quid less per tyre :S

A lot of cars seem to be fussy when it comes to tyres, I asked for recommendations on here when my Pirellis needed replacing & the overwhelming response was, and still is, PS2's.
Did think about trying Falkens last time (also been recommended) but it was only the rears that needed changing & I didn't want to mix.

Sorry to thread crash, where have you been offered PS2's? I can't get them anywhere for a Cayman.Have been offered the following with not much difference in price.
