Modified Gen 2 997 Turbo - 1/4mile quicker than a 650S

I am doing some future financial planning and I might slap a new exhaust on the Turbo next year, I might not. If I do I will need the ECU changed and well, I might as well go the full hog.

I am sure some of you have seen this video before.

Does anyone know or can help answer, apart from the tyres in this video which are slicks, can all these upgrades be done with OEM parts ? Who in the UK does this type of work?

I am not even sure what a Y-pipe upgrade is..?

600bhp starting point

Is yours PDK or manual Carl? I believe that PDK cars are limited to around 600bhp and the equivalent torque due to the gearbox throwing a hissy fit. At least, that was the case last time I looked, may be different now.

And irrelevant if you have a manual, of course!

Nine go over the top with hybrid turbos early on.

imo go with Cargraphic kit or the kit shown (sharkwerks) both are the same bits, both reversible easy, and both are 600bhp.

If you're limited to 600ish - that'll be up to the 9e35 kit - pretty much the same as CarGraphic and Sharkwerks kit, no turbo or intercooler change.

as meaning getting close or better than a 650s and being in the UK (Parr and others can supply CarGraphic kit).

That means Turbo and intercooler changes along with other stuff. Our 9e30 is not the full hog, she's a baby tune, a 9e20 is getting towards the full hog, sorry for the misunderstanding.

With pdk, a strong tune and free flowing exhaust will get you sub 30s 0-300kmh.

That's all you'll need to be honest and pretty much as much as you'll be able to get anyway unless there are some upgraded pdk clutches on the market now (which I'm sure won't be cheap).
