Excellent body shop

Having had the misfortune to be the victim of a careless driver who backed her Landrover into the rear wing of my parked 993 Targa, I opted for the repair to be carried out by Chandler Stewart (Tonbridge) Ltd. I've just collected the car and I'm astonished by the care and attention lavished on it. It's looking like a brand new car - if you didn't know the Porsche model line up, you'd swear it had just left the factory.

Fortunately, I wasn't paying for the work, which wasn't cheap, but it was carried out in a thoroughly meticulous manner. A typical final touch, just as I was about to get into the car to leave: the mechanic who had driven the car out onto the forecourt noticed that the driver's side motion sensor for the alarm had a broken mounting. Despite my telling him that it was like that when I handed the car over, he asked me to wait a couple of minutes, rushed inside, found and fitted a spare mounting. OK, not an expensive item, but typical of the firm's attitude to customer service.

I like to give credit where it's due, and Chandler Stewart certainly deserve credit. I hope never to have to use their services again, but if I ever need a body shop, I know where I'll be going! Nice people and superb workmanship!
