Parking Assistant

I've just had a 48,000 mile service and fitted a new tiptronic gear change lever. Now when I put the 996 into reverse the parking assistant emits a continuous tone until I move out of reverse.

Any ideas out there as to how to solve it? My excellent specialists couldn't sort it but they didn't spend ages.

I won't be around much over Christmas but I'll get back to whoever responds - thanks and happy motoring.
