Gt3 Pccb

Have managed to gate crash a track day tomorrow and will be taking my GT3 with pccb .

Any advice for brake preservation? It won't be a regular track car

warm them up slow and do real cooling down laps even 2 x cooling laps

none of this braking at 200 meters either, brake hard late.

Most important is proper cool down laps after full attack mode. You also want to make sure you have sufficient pad thickness left - more than you'd do on steels

TC should not be an issue but the car is best in Sport Plus mode on track. IIRC then TC is off anyway

Tks DR S I don't have sport plus its a 997 gen 1 gt3 so im thinking traction off, sport button on good to go. Im thinking the TC on wont help the heat issues for the rears?

No need for preservation. Pin it and have some fun!

I killed a set of pads in 2 days (down to 50%). But that was on a turbo. Only run steel on GT3.

And as per above. All aids off otherwise the rears will get toasted.

My pads are good right now and I don't intend doing bundles of track days so relay want to stick to standard set up . Many tks for advice

All good on that front have done a few track days just not with Ceramics and don't wanna wreck them although I think with all your help ive got it sussed. Tks again

Am assuming the pads are well bedded in? If so, go forth and have fun...

If not, bed them in....

oh yeah ...avoid gravel....and if changing the wheels...be careful not to clip the ceramic discs...use the extraction guide pin...
