I thought this was a couple of weeks ago.......
Yes, I'm sure my invite stated sometime earlier than tonight, in fact I'm sure of it.Fantastic display of old Porsche when I was there a few weeks back. Very early 911, 3.2 CS, 74RSR and others. Well worth a visit, and the staff were excellent.
I believe its Dick Lovett.

They've been open for ages (August or earlier) & there may have been other 'events' but the launch party is Thursday & its the only one that counts 'cos we'll be there
I best give them a ring then if it's this Thursday I've still the invite somewhere and see if I can still get in. I'd put money on it though that the initial official opening on my invite was weeks ago.
Maybe old age is getting the better of me.
PS You lads from Herefordshire take it easy and be careful out there. The big wide road next to the OPC with 3 lane traffic going both ways seperated by a central barrier is called a motorway. .........

Why not the train to Ashchurch? Bound to be a bus from the station or a 10 minute walk.
Was only messing about the bus, but come to think of it it may not be such a bad idea if there is champagne on offer!! After all, Thursday night is the weekend so not technically a school night. RSGulp said:
Will you be there Warren?
Hello Rich I'd love too but we are renovating our home and the Sparky informed me sometime ago that he can only come over tomorrow evening (of all nights, though I really did think the opening night was a few weeks back) to 2nd fix the electrics in our temporary kitchen, or I'll be waiting until mid December. I just can't see the Sparky finishing early enough to get over there.
Add insult to injury, I'm supposed to be at the NIA strutting my stuff at the Billy Idle concert next week. However it seems I can't make that either.
Home renovation or/and work are really cocking up my social life at the moment.

Thought credit was due to the guys at Tewkesbury for putting on an impressive evening to show off their shiny new facilities. Here's what you missed if you couldn't make it:
The booze flowed freely which made some people very happy!
Thought someone might have been taking the p*ss with the location of the fire extinguishers
Josh Webster, winner of the Porsche Carerra Cup is only 20 and a rising star. We heard him interviewed on Radio 2 on the previous evening so was really nice to meet him. He was kind enough to let Rob try his race seat for size and talk him through the controls.
Thanks again to Dick Lovetts, Tewkesbury
