Does Porsche Configurator include "On the road" costs?

Please can someone advise if Road Tax / Showroom tax and Government First registration fee are included when you use the configurator?
I've negiatiated a deal over the phone based on what I configured on configurator and now the dealer is asking about the above fees if I'm paying for them separately.... which I was under the impression they were included.
Please can someone confirm that this is not included and how much it is normally?

I'm a little disappointed with my dealer as a deal was done, deposit paid and nearly 2 weeks down the line they are asking for this additional amount...
I did not get anything in writing even though i requested it on numerous occasions and it's not until now that these costs have reared it's head?

I understand your frustration. I recently ordered a new GTS and assumed the configurator price was the final price but it's obviously not.I did not get anything in writing even though i requested it on numerous occasions and it's not until now that these costs have reared it's head?
However, my issue was more about not knowing about the costs having never ordered a car from new before, rather than the dealer not discussing it. It's also annoying that the configurator doesn't allow you to remove the Porsche assistance or third year warranty either...........

I think the real question here is why is it only two years anyway. Can't think of another manufacturer that doesn't offer three years as standard.

The extended warranty invite for my Cayman S gives details of the charges and limits. It does say a 3rd year can be added within the first year from registration at the standard price. After the first year the 111 point inspection would have to be done first.

I think I just didn't like that the configurator automatically adds it along with £160 Porsche Assist without the option to remove it, and the sales man makes an assumptive sale on the basis of "why wouldn't you want to pay this extra cost without being given the choice?". I was also surprised that the manufacturers warranty isn't three years anyway!Paul

I guess they are happy to just give 2 year warranty as it's not a show stopper for potential Porsche owners still signing the "order" form!Kia give 7 year warranty as it helps them sell cars to establish the brand and it "shouts" extremely good value to potential buyers... Porsche don't need to "shout" good value as it's a premium brand! How many £40k+ cars don't have parking sensors and bluetooth phone prep as standard? Porsche owners still tick the boxes and pay the extra... I guess a positive from it is that it can make a porsche more accesible by lowering the "base" price

I fully agree but I suspect that even if they offered 1 year warranty and offered additional 2 years as a cost option... we would still buy their cars
