Buying a Porsche 911 Turbo S 991

I am looking at a new Porsche 991 turbo s, but the dealer will not move on the price. The list price is £147K and the dealer is only giving me £2K off. Can anyone help, does anyone know of any dealers offering good discounts???

There's a lovely delivery mileage 991 turbo S at Porsche Hatfield in Aqua? Blue for £132k. 222 miles it says its done on window but it has a former keeper. Stunning car

There was a stunning white Turbo S in Edinburgh OPC a few weeks back, to me it looked better than the GT3 in there also.

Depreciation on Turbos is significant.

Nice to order to spec, but I guess you could drop £20k+ as you drive out of the showroom in a Turbo 'S'.

Surely, hard bargaining on a 'pre-owned' has to be the best least worst bet financially?

i think it's a rubber band to paint the tail in gloss black, why paint that and leave the rest ?

Indeed, if it is new at 147k and the 200 mile one owner car is 132k, thats fifteen thousand pounds to do 200 miles. I'd suggest you might want to consider a similarly priced alternative means of transport, such as Virgin Galactic perhaps. Oh, wait..

But that's the trouble with expensive cars. They are just so...expensive.

Its not £15k. The dealer will have a £10k mark up on that, so its more like £25k.

If it was in stock he would be chucking in his mother - but ordered to your spec, he is much more likely to try it on.

Disagree, mine is now 14 months old, done 8k cost me 135k, offered cash 125k or 130k part ex last month...When viewed along side others, 650s ect, imv the TTS is the best valve performance car out there, bettered only by the 103k GT3.....

Yes, and whilst the 997 has always been a hefty depreciator historically (I bought a 300mile 4 month old mint Tts 997 met black top spec from Porsche finance eary £90s trade), the 991 appears to be holding up relatively well so far.......

I had 997tt tip, paid 97k new on 2007, did 50k miles, sold it almost o 3 years to the day in 2010, for 60k, don't think it lost a lot after this time
