PCM3 Traffic Messages
Discussion
Hi,
So I picked up my 997.2 GTS last week.
When I picked up the car last Saturday the PCM3 was showing Traffic Messages. Both in the list in Info and on the Map via the symbles.
Since then the system hasn't shown any Messages in the list or on the map part from about 5 minutes yesterday on the way to work where there was a fully populated list and, again, symbols on teh map.
I have been through every option on the PCM and Traffic Messages are definitely turned on. I've turned them on and off and tried every combination of every other function. But still no reliable Traffic Messages.
Is this common with PCM? Or am I just receiving a poor signal (I presume it's an FM-based information signal?)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's driving me nuts!

Yeah, it works when it wants to. For me, it helps if you actually have the nav going. So, even though i know my commute well, i will sometimes put my postcode in and sometimes this kickstarts it.
I hate TomToms; any paraphernalia stuck on the dash is not welcome in my car! Otherwise i find the PCM very good.
