Apart from the obvious harder ride what would the effect be of having 40 PSI in the front tyres and 42- 45 PSI in the rear of a Boxster.

My fault entirely for not checking the tyre pressures for 4 months (I know I need a slapped wrist) but what other effects will it have had on the car.

The pressures have now been adjusted to those shown in the fuel filler flap and the car feels an awful lot better on the lovely wiltshire country lanes.

Nothing in the long term. Just increased chance of spinning off the road when wet.

Tryres will be worn down the middle of the tread far more than the edges. Best check even if the edges look ok.
