996 pulling to the left

When driving along the wheel pulls slightly to the left. This is made worse when braking. None of this is dramatic but I feel like I should check it out. Called a wheel alignment outfit who said that it might be a warped disc and/or alignment. He also said I'd need to have balancing/alignment checked at an OPC as his type of outfit don't have the Porsche programme. Is this correct and if not any suggestions for the London area?

Nope, booked it into Posheworx in North London for Tuesday. They have the alignment/balancing equipment there. I'm hoping its not warped brake discs.

Never noticed this before, sorry for the late response.

Do you have 18" wheels? Sure its not tramlining and/or road camber - when I used to switch my boxster wheels from 16 to 18 inch then I used to initially feel the car was pulling, and especially under braking, but was just the tramlining effect of the 18s. Its even worse now on the GT3 which tramlines constantly, I can drive round corners quite easily with no hands in the ruts made by trucks.

If you are getting alignment done it is usually referred to as a "geometry check" and needs to be done properly - usually places will have a 4 wheel laser alignment rig, and ensure they do full castor, toe, camber alignment.

Missed it too - and maybe too late to state the obvious, so apologies if you already checked the tyre pressure front nearside. A few psi down compared to the offside and the normal camber drift is made much worse, and it's more noticelable when braking as the soft tyre gets compressed more.
