How long from Build finish date to dealer did yours take?

My build completion date for my Cayamn S is today (woohoo!) and my delaer has mentioned it's around 2 weeks from this date which puts me bang on Christmas day!

They did mention it might come earlier but then again it might not... obviously I'm getting too excited and would love it as a Christmas present to collect on Christmas Eve but realistically has anyone managed to collect their new Porsche less than 2 weeks after build completion date from the dealer?

My Cayman GTS was built Dec 4th and I'm picking it up tomorrow. It arrived in Reading for PDI yesterday, so with a bit of luck, yours should be here before Christmas as well! Fingers crossed!

Don't know if you saw my post in the GTS thread, but I did pick my car up today. AMAZING bit of kit, you have a real treat to look forward to! Unfortunately, as I pulled up outside my house after picking it up, a cyclist rear ended me damaging the bumper, spoiler and tailgate. Car is going back to Porsche for bodywork. Gutted.

Mine was finished on 27/11, and say should be available end of this week.

I've decided to delay and get on 02/01 so a 2015 car
