Track Insurance 2005

I'll be renewing my insurance in February. Rumour has it that RSA (via Performance Marque) will be withdrawing Track Cover from the main road policy - they used to include cover for PCGB days...

Has anyone dealt with this yet?

RSA's price is rubbish so if they're only doing road cover it won't be worth my while staying with them...

I've seen "Marsh" advertising in Circuit Driver for track cover only....anyone used them? Value?

Not sure if this is relevant or not, I use Heritidge (Norton) through PCGB they still include PCGB track day cover with European assistance and green card.

Hi Don,

I've never heard of them. I use Bickley Insurance who are good. Welded cage?…..No problem! Telephone Chris Wilkins, 020 8773 8123, and tell him John sent you. I paid £1300 for the 993 RS, but that included the engine mods and protection of NCB, otherwise it would have been £1100. Track days will cost me an extra £79 each, which seems reasonable

Thanks, chaps. It'll need doing soon so I want to try and get the price down a bit. Single day cover for a valuable car is prohibitively expensive...
