To Dab or not to Dab this is the question

As it says in the title, anyone upgraded to or converted to Dab in any of their vehicles, is it worthwhile?

I have a very neat piece of Kenwood kit in my 997 that I chose partly because it had DAB. Just like a portable, DAB does give you more info about programme and tracks being played etc., but it wouldn't be the end of the world if it wasn't there.

Just fitted a pioneer app radio 4 with dab. Works great...

I had a Kenwood headunit fitted as I was getting so fed up with a normal Satnav unit falling off the windscreen. I seldom listen to FM anymore as DAB is far better. Whilst FM degrades gradually with poor signal, DAB goes straight to popcorn. However, that tends to happen long after I have lost FM signal anyway. Additionally, a lot of stations are broadcast nationally on DAB meaning that you don't need to keep finding another station while doing Mach2 down a motorway or enjoying the twisty bits.

Is that for models that have Bluetooth audio streaming ? Didn't think 997 PCM3 had that function, but maybe available in 991/cayenne/macan models ?
