3.2 carrera advice

recently bought 1989 with 114,000 but previously well pampered. doing lots of motorway miles, approx 1000 per month. am i going to wear it out? engine rebuilds seem to be something i should be enquiring about. also fitted colgan bra..very sexy, product info warns about keeping them on when wet. is that a problem? something to do with paintwork absorbing moisture. or are these things only usable in california

My old 3.2 had more than 135,000 miles on it and was still going strong when I sold it with plenty of compression and producing 234 bhp on 95 RON (after a chip from AmD). Good servicing history necessary- then you should have no probs. Have fun!
