Can anyone recommend a trickle charger for a 997 turbo, ideally one that plugs into the cigarette lighter?

- don't want the battery to go flat over the winter!

Thanks

Used a CTEK trickle charger for last few years on different Porka's. Works great and left the car for 6 weeks+ without issue.

Currently have the MXS 3.6, but I think its been replaced by the MXS 3.8.

Wot Dan said above. Plug it in, shut the door on the wire, sorted. Have done this for years with our 997 and 986 before that.

Got these on most of mine, even a 6v version. Work great. The cigarette plug is an extra cost item.

Must have IMO, but then again I am mechanically inept so needed something easy to use.

(Hiya Richard & Diane! Happy New Year, hope to see you guys again in near future.)

I've just bought one of these for my 981 Boxster and charge it via the ciggy lighter adapter - works well
