Hi Has anyone had starting problems with there cayenne the car sometimes doesn't turn over you can here the pump start up but nothing happens it starts eventually but can take up to 10mins off trying

4.8s 85k miles here. I had starter turned a few revolutions then stopped, turn key off and try again and it would start, this was once in 8-10 starts. New starter (that sounds much more lively than the old one) solved it. Not a cheap repair so perhaps look for an independent garage.

Check it's not using even the slightest bit of water. When the pipes split the water dribbles onto the starter not helping it .
