911 Turbo (930) LE - value today
Discussion
Just clearing out the junk messages and users from my site and stumbled across a previous review on the 911 Turbo LE - http://www.fastgerman.com/911-turbo.htm
'Bought for: £28,000 in 2007 (and sold for £48,500 in 2009 with 22k miles - good investment)'
Wonder what it's worth today if he didn't sell in 2009, which I believe went to a Porsche dealer.
I reckon over £100k making almost 400% in 8 years if he hung on. Yikes

I sold my White Turbo LE (G700 WFT) with 13k on it around 15 years ago for £35000........!
But I was happy at the time that was the going rate..... I would thought with double the miles it would be £120K + today.....
When I think about it there's a few cars I have sold that are similar,a BMW Z8 with 7K on it for £55K.. that's £140K + today....But that's life....

don't beat yourself up, if you bought property in a decent location it would have risen a higher %
far from it,maybe quote the hole post.?I look at it as having the pleasure and experiance of owning such cars as i have done over the years with many marques,i do have a small collection of cars that I will not sell but generally speaking I change them quite regularly...
BMW i8 due 1st of march...

have one yourself

and it was just a phrase, I didn't think we were actually thrashing yourself with a birch, or genuinely upset. Merely pointing out other assets have risen by as much/more, sounds a lovely car btw - got any pics?g7jhp said:
Interesting new addition to Harry's Garage.
Stunning isn't it. Shame about the interior but what a car. julian987R said:

I think it's more that it's been retrimmed (and looks quite matt) so you lose the originality. Black interior with a guard red exterior is great and certainly of the period.
I think it looks really special .. what do you think it cost? similar to a flatnose original? The UK got the 911 (930) Turbo Limited Edition which looks to be the same car but only 50 RHD examples.
As for cost...LOTS if it's just been rebuilt in that condition.

As Harry himself points out in the video when he opens the door, he is disappointed it has been re-trimmed. It’s lost all its patina and looks utterly dreadful inside as a result. The leather doesn’t match the type originally used and it really lets the car down having been re-trimmed to that degree. Harry himself is not thrilled by it.
Utterly dreadful?

You just can’t help yourself, can you?
