How would I find out whether an option was factory fitted or not. I seem to remember in the dim and distant past reading there is an options list/sticker on the car somewhere?

any help appreciated

Depends on the car. They stopped the stickers some years ago. Porsche can provide the factory spec.

On my 996 the sticker is under the bonnet, and also in the service book !

Ask your local OPC service department to check out the VIN number and they will give you a full print out of the factory fitted options.

If you're a bit bored of Eastenders spend a few minutes working around this - (you'll have to read the thread)

If you are a member of Porsche club GB you can get a free certificate of authenticity from Porsche GB.

This lists all the factory fitted extras along with paint code and build date.
