Not sure what the point is... wink

Let's listen to the PH voices of reason over the last 18 months:

"Prices are only going one way"

"IF I had the money I'd buy that it's only going to go up"

"What's the best car to invest in for my pension?"

"They're not making anymore of them so it's only going to appreciate"

"Last of the manual gearboxes"

"Last of the non-Turbo engines"

"How much MORE is my car worth today?"

"My Uncle's company is a new specialist Porsche dealer - never heard of them but would not hesitate buying that appreciating classic they have it looks mint"

"Don't worry about buying on condition - it's an investment so it'll appreciate standing still. Just buy it."

Anymore great one liners?

A pretty little car trying to gab hold of the coat tails of the genuine '73 RSs.

Nice, but not that nice

Absolute stupid price.........sorry.
I've said it before and i'll say it again there's only one thing worse than an idiot and that's an idiot with money, which is who some of these specialists are targeting.
I have dealt with these guys when I bought my 3.2c nothing wrong with them but nothing special about them either. All cars are SOR.

Too right. A lot money out there. A lot of buyers haven't a clue what they're buying, apart from 'a Classic Porsche.'

World's gone mad.

What pee's me off is that most true enthusiasts will never be able to buy one again. Mind you, there are some rich sods on here too....

Don't just blame the naive punters. It's the very GREEDY sellers. Easy money if a mug comes along.

Precisely they are priced out of enthusiasts hands now, such a shame.
I do think there will be some shirts lost though, but if you can afford a 1/4 million for an old Porsche then maybe you'll not bat an eyelid when the inevitable happens

I agree..it's all gone a bit mad..
Apparently some have sold in auction for this kind of money..
Also here's one that caught my eye a few weeks ago.

A lovely thing indeed. I would buy it.

But not at anywhere near that price.

That's quite a bargain compared to the yellow one at £245,999.
