I was gutted to not see my car on the I8 story. I was up on the ridge that day they were filming it.

Not when you consider that the winch is attached to iron that's more than half a century old! I'm sorry, but i'd want a whole new subframe structure that the car is then attached to then winched up! Even then i'd want to be sedated.

Think there was.

We didn't actually see any out of car shots of the Hampster half way up though did we.

Credit where it's due, I really enjoyed the show last night. 1st time in a while !

Anyone see the C5 classic car show last week ? Jodie Kidd gently perspiring in a GT40 around Reims was a little ziti h hat James May in the Aston. Quentin still looks like Dracula though. biggrin

That GT40 was a replica, but what a weapon, love to have a go in that.

I enjoy that Classic show, but find the interaction between the 2 presenters, when in the studio, a tad nauseating.

Re: TG, Clarkson pretty much fired a shot across all of us "why isn't it a car show anymore" types, by indicating it would be back to the usual "project drivel" that the mass audience seem to want?

James May is really letting the side down I am afraid.

Trainers?

And he used to have such good taste in shoes

There's not even a 911 in the intro vid.
Used to be a viper one.

Trouble with all that guff they spout, the Porsche knocks it all into a cocked hat.

The 918 kills all of them.

I never tire of watching Hammond tax that 918 round the Abu Dhabi gp circuit. When that exhaust goes off BOOM!
