Picking up the 911 - what not to say to your wife!
Discussion
Finally got the 911 out of storage yesterday. I don't think I've seen it for 5 months. Anyway, my wife dropped me off at the storage facilities and it was sitting outside (unfortunately I didn't take a picture then so attached one in its new garage will have to do). I stared at it and said to my wife, "wow, I had forgotten how good looking it was". As I went over to check it she called out, " you never say that about me!". Doh. Perhaps I should have thought it and not said it!
Took the 911 for a brief drive to check it was okay before putting it away. It was more than alright. Reminded me how good it is to drive (and how deceptively quick it is too).
As long as the weather Gods play ball I have a road trip to Wales planned in a few weeks. Should be fun!

What's the spec?
Started life as a RHD UK 2.4 E from 1972. At some point got converted into a 2.7 What's the spec?
RS lightweight replica. Not a very faithful rep but does have engine from an actual 2.7 RS in the back. Drives very well although quite stiff suspension and Avon tyres means it is harder and more focused than RST I have driven (I've not managed to drive a real RS lightweight).
