Porsche 996 GT2 Clubsport

Colour, year, condition, original panel, overrevs, modifications ? Why doesn't the car have it's history ?

Silver, 2001, Original panels, no mods, the car was repossessed and I've been told I'd need to track history. Does anyone now if Porsche have a central computer for the servicing?

That's all the info I have on the car at the moment.

You should be able to establish the supplying dealer from the chassis number, they may be able to give you some details of the service history if they serviced it. The rest will require some legwork on your part. They're rare cars, so it's worthwhile asking if anyone knows the car or it's owner/s on your local Porsche forum/s.

Do you mean 50K Miles or 50Km?

50km, its done about 49454 km

I know Porsche can access a cars history within OPC network, but don't know if they will do it for you (undoubtedly for a fee of course) or if they only do it for their own purposes when say accepting a car as a trade-in. Worth asking your local OPC if they can help.

Is it red by any chance ?as I remember a red car which I thought was a CS LHD

No, it's silver.

I've checked the data card and these are some of the option codes it has-

003
X50 option code
101 GT2 Option Code
722 Internal production code (GT-car)

Does anyone know if the X50 option code is standard on a gt2 clubsport or is it a option?

X50 is standard on all GT2's.

Just contact any German OPC and they will be able to tell you if it has ever visited an OPC. There are many non-OPC Porsche specialists in Germany so if nothing shows on the OPC system, it doesn't necessarily mean it is a lemon.

Never heard of X50 and 101 options on a true GT2. There is one type engine and normally no code is mentioned.
What does it say on the sticker under the bonnet? It should have the option codes there. At least it should say:
Type: 996 840 - 911 GT2 COUPE
Eng. Code: M9670-642 Trans. Code: G9688-20
This is standard for all 996 GTs.

Sorry to point out but, the mileage you quote is 50K Km not 50Km.

I'm waiting for the car to be delivered so can't check under the bonnet sticker at the moment. I have the data card any yes it says, "Sales Type 996840" and the engine and transmission code are the same too.
