Just had my renewal quote through for my 991, up around £900 over my 997 GT3 from last year.
Given Mannings situation on European Track Days where there is now a £500 per day premium (free for UK) and their normal 10% vehicle value excess, is there any alternatives out there that others are using?

New Quote for 52 year old full NCB in Scotland is around £2k.

Thanks for any info in advance

Try http://www.classiclineinsurance.co.uk/

I've got my 997.2 GT3 with them and they were very reasonable & cheaper than Mannings - no Tracker required either!

Lindsay how important is track insurance for you ? (and yep understand you do track)

It may be that self insurance is a better mid term saving given the % excess on any track cover from Manning et al (view I took) and use say Admiral on an agreed value basis. I just managed to renew and reduce insurance cost across my cars with Admiral, took the value of the GT3 up to an agreed value of £150k inc specific options listed. With a total declared mileage and SDP & Commute (not that it comes to the office much!)

All in if I look at the Admiral price of £540 p.a.fully comp for the GT3 part of the multi-car it's a bit of a steal, yes there is the constant noise on PH on the "quality" of cover etc but there is an equal no issues camp as well when it comes down to it.

My other quotes were :

Mannings : 900 ish
Aviva (Broker) : 1200 ish
BeWiser : 1700 (oh and did I have experience of other super cars before they would insure!)
Locktons : think it was £1100 ish

I believe classicline will not insure at the ring. That being the case, what are you doing about the other ring regular chariot?
