Just some help here what is the OEM radio music system on 2004 gt2 and is there a port of facility for using a memory stick etc.
Whatever sometimes a drive needs music other than exhaust sound
Cheers

As standard no.

Rob had fitted a couple of additional amps behind the seats and there was a connection to plug in an ipod type device which he'd also added. Personally, never switched the radio on and had considered removing the amps and putting back to standard. For me it was extra weight with no benefit.

I put a Becker Grand Prix in my GT3.

Looks OEM and had Bluetooth and Aux for iPod.

See if you can find a used becker indianapolis pro or cascade, as they look almost factory particularly the first one and give you the option of hooking up an iphone via bluetooth and also optional line in for music library.

I went for the indianapolis pro, and took the factory becker traffic pro out, and have put it in storage.

Ok went for a cheapo option, wireless MP player with USB port thats good enough for me, had one in my TVR lasted around 2 yrs before quenching. Cheap and cheerful but will allow me to keep OEM unit

Ridiculous at it may seem I have yet to sit in the car looking at photos then mine being a 2004 model probably the last 996 .1 GT then I,lol have the same model. Previous owner installed pioneer amp unit so sound may be ok but I only need my music for cruising for real driving no music is required
