track day no license

I think this might be a lost cause but worth a go anyway.

I have a track day at Silverstone on Sunday and seem to have lost my licence. Frustratingly I think it was in the pack of 'helpful'infomration I recevied on a Safespeed course after being caught at 36 mph recently - I threw the pack out on arriving home!

Does anyone have any advice that might see me behind the wheel in the morning

Call the organisers and explain the situation. They may be sympathetic. I know the DVLC will confirm your licence status if you call them on the day, unfortunately if it's a Sunday I guess this option will not be open to you. Looks like the pleading to their better nature might be your only option.
