I have a have a 2004 Cayenne Turbo which I have had for about 1.5 years. Car is amazing to drive and we use it on a daily basis. I would consider selling it but in my ownership I have spent a considerable amount fixing the dreaded coolant leak, trying to resolve a misfire problem, as well as fitting an LPG tank. Unlikely I will ever get back what I’ve spent so the only way to recoup my spend is to keep it for the long term. I think we will have this for 3 years or so as a daily driver.

As great as the car is, we have two issues. My wife’s main gripe is that the Sat Nav is useless and it doesn’t connect to an iPhone. To fix I am likely to fit a Pioneer unit with Apple CarPlay as this will solve this problem. Only thing I will lose is the direction arrows of the Nav by the speedo, which we can live without. We don’t use the Sat Nav anyway!

My main issue is the car is starting to look a bit old, styling-wise. I much prefer the mk2 957 look and im considering an upgrade. Has anyone done this? I am looking to go a step further and add a Mansory body to it too. I’d be particularly interested if anyone has done this as well. I know I will never recoup the cost, but I figure if Im going to keep it for 3 more years I may as well have it looking as I want.

Anyone else done a similar thing?
