I think anything plugged into the lighter socket will be OK as they can just unplug it for the inspection, anything permanently wired in however won't be OK (officially).

During the 111pt check for Warranty one of the checks is 'third party installations in/on vehicle' Yes/No - Yes is a fail......

If a modification affects enough of the vehicle then PCGB /PAG can put a block flag onto the vehicle - nullifying any future Warranty

I was told a completely standalone tracker just lodged in a gap somewhere would prevent the warranty a couple of years back! I was quite surprised!

Had 2 warranty renewals with something similar, also had a couple of warranty claims and no issues at all.

Does it depend on the OPC in question?

It is open to interpretation but common sense isn't out of the window completely; PPF on the wings, bonnet and bumper is going to cause oil leaks......

When you said "stinger" I assumed you were a crim who'd just TWOCd a Porker and were on the run from the Rozzers. Quite why you were concerned about the warranty I wasn't sure...
