Hi all

Just back from collecting my 991 GTS from Paintsheild in Peterborough. I have to say....BLIMEY! Bloody amazeballs!! bounce

Car benefited from a complete front end, sills and rear wheel arches. Now thinking of having the rest done after seeing the results!! hehe

Tom and Anne were superb, and the paint film is all but invisible...seriously!

If you look really carefully you'll see that Tom was wearing his Pistonheads TShirt!! biggrin

Now happy in the knowledge that my car isn't going to get peppered!!!

Looks great! I wanted to get my wife's BMW covered in Paintshield but it arrived far earlier than expected and now it has stone chips left right and centre.

Was yours a factory order GTS? I'm thinking of one and was curious of the lead time. Did you have Porsche transfer your car to Tom and have it detailed there or did you drive it there?

Cheers

Yes, it was a da Tory order due to spec. Took around 3 months. I probably could have had Paintsheild collect from my OPC, but didn't know at the time that Paintsheild have a covered transport. I'd driven around 200 miles before my car was with them, and I'd already gained two very small chips.

I have to say the finish is superb, and now I can approach cars to overtake with the confidence to know that short of a brick being thrown nothing's going to get through the protective layer, and to boot, it actually looks shinier than the standard paint!

Intersting - can you give me an idea of price? I have a new pan hybrid coming in June - thinking i might do this to protect the re sale value as i will def not be keeping it long....

Best thing to do is call paint shield and get a quote. Full front end, sills, and rear wheel arches cost me circa £2k, but I guess it will depend on the vehicle.....
