Hi all, hope you are having a lovely easter weekend.

I am up in Nottingham and am having what appears to be a wheel balancing issue : steering wheel vibrating significantly arojnd the 60-75 mph range.

Car is 996 turbo on oz suppelegerra iii forged 3 piece wheels painted in gunmetal colour

Please could someone recommend a good garage to go to please. I am staying near the Nottingham university campus.

Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday I suspect you'll have to take your chances with whoever is open tbh.

OPC Nottingham is a couple of miles down the road, suspect the workshops won't be open though.

Yes indeed, truly one of the worst days of the year to be asking for wheel balancing. Would you know of any porsche specialists I could give a try in the area.

Zentrum perhaps, but again slim to none on them being open.

Wheel balancing is not rocket science, nor is there a Porsche specific method (save for having the right equipment if centre lock wheels are involved). I'd use any of the national places (nowhere else likely to be open) but impress upon them the delicacy and value of your wheels. if you're still nervous then ask if you can oversee the job and take photos of the wheel on the car outside their workshop before they touch it.
