997 a/c condenser
Discussion
Hi,
Think I have a hole in the o/s condenser as the air con is no longer working and there is what looks like an oil stain on the face of the condenser. I just want to check that I am looking at the right thing - on a 2008 C4S is the air con condenser in front of the water rad?
Or is it the other way around and am I being daft and looking at a water leak in a rad?
Thanks
Mark

As above, and yes, the condensers are in front of the rads.
It would be best to assess after having removed this condenser, as your rads (water!) might need replacing too. At the very least unless the other condenser has been replaced recently, change both of them, and if you want, replace the receiver/dryer too, inexpensive off Ebay as it is common with many other vehicles. Also ensure that you have appropriate o-rings available, on the 996 the sizes are very non-standard plus they need to be resistant to a-c gases so for these certainly go to your OPC.
