987/997 OEM GPS antenna to power aftermarket nav?

I have just replaced my PCM2.1 with an aftermarket unit.
It was an effort getting so many cables into the space, so I wanted to try to see if I could use the OEM GPS antenna rather than run the one that came with my new Pioneer head unit.
Is this possible? If so, could anyone point me in the right direction for an adaptor that will convert the (Fakra?) OEM connector into the (AVIC?) one I need?
