Convertible top not opening

Hi
Taken hardtop off to enjoy the sunshine on Tuesday. Had the top up and down a few time.
Just came out pushed button to take top off and nothing happened, just lroof light on dash flashing. Help any one any ideas
Treid all doors , boot and engine compartment to see all shut but just the flashing light on dash when I hold down the button?

That would have been handy to tell people rather than assuming that I knew ,so everybody will knew

OJust treid the roof now, and it appears that the fairys have been over night and fixed it.
Have had it up and down six times on the trot and it now working perfectly.

Just come in to my driveway put the roof back up, it came up ,locked into position and then the windows didn't come back and close and the light on dash flashing again.
So still a problem

Have all the micro-switches checked. I once had a similar problem, and it was a switch. OCP checked, fortunately they were able to repair the switch, works fine ever since. I would let somebody do the checking who knows about Porsche convertible tops.
