Hi all,

I have noticed a whistling noise coming from the rear only under certain conditions:
- the noise appears after a certain time (5-10 miles / 20 minutes driving)
- speed dependant: the noise only happens at speed above 30-40 mph. Or at least i cant hear it below that speed.
- the noise start as soon as i press on the gas pedal. On the highway, i can hear it as soon as i slightly touch the gas pedal and it goes away as soon as I take my foot off from the gas pedal.

my car is a 997.1 Carrera S.

many thanks for the help and feedbacks

That made me smile smile
My bet would be drive belt and bad pulley. Common fault and more noticeable once everything gets a bit hot.

To be honest I haven't paid attention to the temperature gauge but I wouldn't think so (no warming light).

I just realised there is something leaking from the rear (center). It is hard to tell what kind of fluid it is as the car is parked outside and there is only a few drops .
