2nd Fog Light - 997.1

Has anyone run a wire to the non functioning rear fog light on a 997.1 to make this function?

I've seen it done on a 996 but there is an extra wire on the latter model.

Easy enough to do but I don't want to cause an issue with the electrics.

Advice please?
