Just seen this 1975 2.7, see link below.

The estimate floored me, and it's not exactly clean either.

Not exactly clean is an understatement, the radio surround even has rust on it!
You can see visaul signs on the rear bumper, front bumper, door, sills, front wing - so when it's stripped back you can guarantee it's going to be worse.
That's going to need a lot of £££ spent on it to remove all the rust properly.
Good example of how ImpactBumpers hide rust can be seen here

These are mechanically almost identical to a 2.7RS and equally rare. They go for £200k+ in good nick.
They used to struggle to better £30k a decade ago. ....one positive with this current increase in prices (trying not to say bubble) is that old Porsche are being restored which wasn't economically viable at lower values!

Works needed on this car could be even more than one in above thread.

Wow! And a lot of work to do there.
For a manual experience I would rather go for this

Agree with a lot of the above, however it is certainly worth saving as a UK RHD 1 owner 55k miles MFI Car in a nice period colour. When restored it will be a very desirable car and the value will show that.
Quite how the interior got into that state after only 55k miles and one careful owner though is a bit baffling.
