Macan PX Value?

Our second Macan is inbound... what do we think the PX value is on an April 14 car?
Its reasonable spec, leather, BT, cruise, 20s, heated seats & SW, privacy.
4000 miles.

OPC have come back with a figure and its quite a bit off what I would have thought...

We traded ours in against a Cayenne at 8 months old and c. £8k miles in March and got back list price.

No pcm? Is it a UK car? I thought they were pcm as part of c16 spec?

PCM is only standard on turbo. The Macan has touch screen as standard but no nav module.
Does not bother me, wont have it on next one either.

No PCM will be the reason. Knocks c. £3k off the bid.

If depreciation matters, you have to buy a car with a spec that is more saleable, even if it means adding options you personally don't need. Depends vastly on the model. Clearly here there is an expectation of a £50k new car having sat nav as an expectation.

Guys, I think you are all getting the wrong end of the stick.
I want to know PX value, not if I should have spec'd PCM or not!

But not specifying PCM will have a negative effect on the PX value, so the comments are relevant.

With PCM purchase price less 8k

Without PCM purchase price less 12k

expensive decision not the spec!

Well seeing as the cheapest Macan on AT is 50k id stick the car up for at least 48k given the lack of PCM and the phone should ring off the hook.

You lose 90% of market interest by not speccing PCM, regardless how cheap the car is imv.

If the nav module can be retrofitted, it may offer a buyer a way to buy the car cheap, and then retrofit it.

If an option that you don't want/need will return you 150-250% of what it cost come resale time, you should spec it. You'll never get that kind of return on your money in the bank and who knows, you might even make use of it too, which would be an added bonus.

That was what I was thinking. Well, we will see come September. As for 250% I think you need to take the red pill!!
