PDK will beat most manual driven cars unless pro driven.

I have experienced this myself on track. PDK Cayman R vs my 997 GT3, didn't know the track vs a local who did. He was all over me at first and I couldn't shake him so I moved over let him past (grimacing as I did so!). I gave him some space and continued on my way, he lost it completely and spun 2 corners further down. He was on the ragged edge whilst I was learning the track and taking it relatively easy. Sure he was happy to be quicker than a GT3, but same driver/committment levels the GT3 would be quicker, no doubt.

If it makes you feel any better, i met a Cayman R owner at Brands last week and he didn't want to take his car on track because the tyres were pretty new...

If he has stock setting I would agree, 4 laps would kill £1000 set of tyres if driven hard.

I recently came across a red 991 GT3 at Oulton pk a few months ago. I was in my manual Cayman R with road tyres, I could catch him and keep with him but its power on the straights kept me from passing it.
