GT3s with a Lambo caught speeding in France

Not sure if already posted - but looks like some GT3 boys got more than they bargained for hooning through La France.
I did like to picture of the GT3 with the passenger taking a pic of the helecopter. If the responsible party is on here, can you post that pic up for completion?
I imagine they were travelling a fair lick over 100mph and were lucky not to get their cars confiscated!

bet they were not fussed about a bit of speeding in 1944 Five supercars with British drivers behind the wheels were caught by a French police helicopter after speeding past an off-duty officer at more than 100mph. ‘The speeds were so high that we had to call in the gendarmerie helicopter in Bayonne to intercept them,’ a spokesman said.

Indeed they were - thought that was automatic.I was caught a couple of year ago doing 239 KPH in a 130 limit..
(There was two of us, me in a black Cayman and a mate in an Orange Cayman Sport, they only managed to fine me as the police vehicle only had one speed gun)
6 month ban (on the spot) and 1500 euro fine (which I had to pay there and then). Luckily I had my friend on my insurance and he was able to bring the car back to the UK.
I was very lucky not to have the car taken off me!

Rob & I were with a group of 20 Astons in France a couple of years ago. Leaving a motorway service station we thought the bloke who had left first knew what he was doing & we would just follow him. That was our first mistake. The second was to keep up with him while the rain got heavier. Oops!
They rounded up 4 cars and imposed hefty cash fines and took the drivers' licences off them. Ours was the only car with a passenger who was insured and licensed to drive away so Rob was relegated to passenger for the rest of the tour. Happy days
As for the others, they had to arrange drivers from the remaining cars. One bloke who was just along as a passenger and not expecting to drive anything soon became known as Lucky B*stard.
Funny how something bad becomes a fond memory and a great pub story. How proud were we when the press cutting made its way back to us about the '4 Aston Martin pilotes'

I took my GT3 to Europe last August. Hit 280km/h+ on some sections. Overtook a police car at 250km/h+ and gave the thumbs up when I went past. Wonder why I didn't get arrested? Oh because it was in Germany and perfectly legal!
Cool story I know, but why not keep the super high speed stuff for the Autobahn and nail it to your hearts content, gets a bit boring when you hit nearly 300km/h a couple of times, although appreciate people want to get it out of their system... I generally cruise at about 140-170km/h through France, never been pulled.
