Labor hours jobs around the car

Having a few jobs done around the car(996 GT2), how many hours labor should I expect?

2x rear shocks (just shocks, not springs)
2x radiators (left and right)
New shifter
Gear oil change

I would say around 6-8hours

Just to clarify:

2x rear shocks (just shocks, not springs) About 1 hour per side
2x radiators (left and right) bumper off 30mins, drop coolant and remove rads another hour then refit bumper 30mins.
New shifter 1 hour (if you mean SSK)
Gear oil change (1 hour)

I've done all these jobs myself already on a 996 (no different in man hour terms) in my garage so I guess a full workshop would have no problems doing it within these times???

Ah cool, I thought it would be more. Don't know why as I have zero experience.

Now let see what comes in, but I would consider 8 a result!

Pretty much bang on with your estimates, actually a little less as he thoroughly went through the rest of the car as well!

So, apart from having geo set which will happen in the next few days, I finally have a fully sorted (well, brakes will need seeing to at some point) GT2.

It's very refreshing to feel like you haven't been shafted, but actually have received excellent service at reasonable cost.

I was quoted 5-6 hours for Rads.

(Ended up paying £540 plus vat for 2 new rads and fitting on my 996 c2)
