Scuffed right front wing :-(

Hi

As per title, my right front wing on my C2 has been scuffed (actually scraped is probably a more accurate description) this weekend by brushing the wall on the very narrow exit ramp of the communal garage beneath my block of flats. Absolutely gutted. Let's leave it at that.

Can anyone recommend any magician buffers / or detailers that I can get out to have a look / hopefully work their magic and sort it? Or do you think it is unfortunately a full (and presumably expensive) respray of right front wing? If so, please could you recommend where to take it. I am based in London.

You really need to post up a picture for a better idea of what's required, but if you can feel the scuff with your fingernail, then it's more than likely a respray.

You can definitely feel the scuffs as where it is scuffed it feels rough and looks like it has taken the paint off to me so am assuming a re-spray would be required but I just wondered if there is any magic that can be performed that I might not be aware of. Either way, I want my beloved car gleaming again asap so any recommends for a re-spray of the front right wing would also be much appreciated.

Using the only Porsche approved repairer in London (apparently) - M&A Coachworks in Highgate.

Car with them now but so far the admin seems efficient, and got a courtesy car when mine was picked up, only a new Polo but wasn't expecting anything as not an approved (i.e. not Porsche) Admiral body shop

Apologies for the delayed posting.

I got a bit brave and gave it a rub and some of it rubbed right out which is great. So am now thinking it may just be a buff / polish job. On that basis, can anyone recommend someone to do the job?

A bit of thread resurrection, but would appreciate some input. Just had a minor scuff on my 4 week old 911.2 rear bumper sorted at Porsche approved body shop just outside Bolton. The arrangement/agreement was that they would pick the car up from Porsche Wilmslow and take it up to the body shop on the back of a truck - to avoid getting any stone chips etc and I don't want someone else driving the car.
Anyway, turns out the car was driven to the body shop(about 23 miles) and I now have 3-4 stone chips on the bonnet that were not there previously. What are my options here as the body shop don't seem keen to rectify things at the moment. I'm also concerned about the risk that the car would have been driven beyond the running in limit of 4200rpm - less of an issue though. Having said that I've picked the car up on Friday and the quality of repair on the rear bumper is great, I just think they should sort out the stone chips now introduced by them by not transporting the car in the way it was agreed. Apparently a different car was put on the truck and transported to the body shop.
What would you do in this situation?

Think about exactly what I want, tell them, and then sue them if they don't do it!

But first things first... what do you have in writing to confirm they supposed were to transport it?

That's exactly what Chester OPC did to my 993 - a third of a tank of fuel and ragged the whole way (65 miles).

Had exactly this on my new (to me) Cayman, less than 24 hours after I took delivery! Nice lunch with friends, return to car park and find the scrape to front wing. Nice eh?!

Called Parr Porsche in Crawley (where I bought the car) and was quoted less than £150 for the respray (all done in a day). Nice job too! Would suggest you give Laurence a call.
